Spiritual Mentor to Rána from childhood. Was a talented member of the Thieves Guild until she retired to serve as Priestess at the Starwind Clan Shrine. She is the only living family member who knows that Rána is the Windborn Senshi of Wroona. As Rána's information specialist, she coordinates all the slaver information that Rána brings back from around the galaxy to help further her granddaughter's senshi crusade.
Wroonian Priesthood
the Wroonian Deity is Master Fate, the Windlord, the manifestation of the Force for the people of Wroona. He personally selects His priesthood, embedding a soul gem in the forehead of his chosen ones. Most Wroonians are quite content to leave the majority of religious expression in the capable hands of the small group of priestly professionals. Priests and priestesses are celibate or not as suits their order and calling which is indicated by the color of their soul gem.

As the Windborn Senshi of Wroona, Rána's priestly calling is expressed in slightly different ways. She does not participate regularly in shrine ceremonies as the Shrine priests and priestesses as she is seldom on Wroona. Like other wandering free-trader priests or priestesses, she will conduct rites of passage for Wroonians away from home, however, unlike them, she does not pursue wealth for the sake of the less fortunate of her planet, but to finance her crusade against slavers.
All Wroonian priests and priestesses who meet Rána will realize from her sapphire soul stone that she is the Windborn senshi, but as they are all also chosen by the Windlord, none would give her away.

Relation to Senshi: Rána's Master while she was a Padawan at the Calus Jedi Temple. Always very supportive of her often challenging apprentice, Master Yitta was the first being to realize that Rána had a special destiny as a senshi.

Rána has many many many cousins of varying degrees scattered throughout the galaxy, most of them pilots, smugglers, merchants, or pirates.

Ruhiel is a dralion, a mythological Wroonian creature about the size of a small Pekingese that looks a wee bit like a Chinese temple lion/dog with a fluffy, curly mane and crest of hair down back to a tail curled over his back and paws with retractable claws. However, he also has scales all over his body, a draconic head with horns, whiskers, fangs and a sapphire soul stone in his forehead. He can talk to Rána via the Force, but can talk out loud. However, he will only converse with senshi, otherwise he pretends to be just another exotic offworld pet. His personality is rather mischievous and playful yet he is quite aware of his importance as a senshi advisor. Though he usually is with Rána in a physical form, he is really a spirit/messenger of the Windlord and as such has some esoteric abilities such as being able to appear and disappear at will. However, as the Windlord is big on His followers being independent, Ruhiel is very reluctant to use his powers to interfere in Rána's life, prefering to simply offer advice and companionship.

Shinwa has a crush on Honouko - he's taken by her good looks and an "aura" she has (because of her angel/demon heritage, but he doesn't know that). He has taken to calling her "Angel," at least in private. He also doesn't know that she's a Sailor Senshi.

Tomo becomes friends with Honouko because, despite her own "floaty" exterior, Tomo can see the pain and conflict in Honouko's eyes. She can see things in most people's eyes that others cannot. She shares this ability with her brother.
Tomo also has a slight obsession with myths and legends, and likes to go about proving them to be true, even if only to herself. When she found out that Honouko was a Sailor Senshi (and a half-demon/half-angel), she was ecstatic, and promised to keep it a secret for Honouko.

Gage Inazuma managed to rescue the baby Honouko and throw Nio off their trail for seventeen years. Nio then found them and killed Gage, and is now off to kill his daughter.
His bat-like wings, slightly tapered ears, and two small horns give him away as a higher-ranking demon, for those who know what to look for.
