Naboo is a small, peaceful world located in the Outer Rim, 34,000 light years from Coruscant and the Core Worlds. Its main species are Gungans and Humans (who refer to themselves as the Naboo, and are descended from the Grizmallt colonists of the Beneficent Tasia fleet), although there are many other races represented on the planet harkening back to the refugee crises of the Clone Wars, Galactic Civil War and the Yuuzhan Vong War, many hundreds of years ago. As a result, the peoples of Naboo are quite philanthropic. In addition to their civil defense fleet, the Naboo have a peacekeeping force known Republic-wide for being on the front lines of humanitarian crises. Its rather socialistic economy is largely based on trade with the Core Worlds.
